| yo! I will probably write more personal stuff on blogger. This Xanga goes out to everyone in a email update, and at least when I get mine, I'm pretty desensitized to what I read. Anyway, I'd like my words (not that they are terribly important) to have more than a casual perusal, and blogger provides more of a chance to do that. I will soon have time to write short stories, and look for those there as well. The address is: http://tandyhard.blogspot.com It is very personal, but that's okay. Sometimes being honest is what I need. Also check out my brother's blog at: http://rockriverroad.blogspot.com/ I know he would appreciate some comments and encouragement. Thanks!

| Is amazing. I grew up on Star Trek TNG and have been secretly searching for a replacement. The Final Episode of Season three was Fantastic! Plus the incorporated one of my favorite songs! The only downside to being a fan is that the next season comes out next year, and I don't think I can wait that long. I just may have to but old episodes on DVD to state my apatite.
Congrats to all those who debated their hearts out at NPDA. Pat yourselves on the back for a great year! For those seniors out there: Non-debate life is wonderfully less stressful. Hugs and kisses to all my peeps!

| It it probably no secret to those who see me on a daily basis that I've been grumpy. And slightly obnoxious. Perhaps perturbing at times, and shall we say a tinge bit bitter? Now that February is over I feel so much better. And it seems I've found my happy places. For about the past sixth months I've been so busy fighting battles with the University about graduation, Financial aid (multiple fights), class work, etc to make me rather sour. It seemed that I was so busy, that I didn't have time to think. Let alone allow myself some semblance of life's enjoyments. I realized about a week ago, that while this semester has, shall we say, not been robust in pleasant memories; there is nothing preventing me from remembering the good times from the past. So, while I've been calling people at Martiz I've been remembering the time our high school musical was best at show at state. While composing lesson plans about space, I'm recalling the night walks I took with my dad. And while I'm trudging to work in the snow I'll remember running camp in the mountains in July, where we went so high that there was still snow on the cliff faces.Debate tournaments with teammates long gone, cute high school crushes who will remain young forever, canoeing in the rain (and hail!) with my brother in middle school. Bassoon Lessons. Point Loma.DSR-TKA. Texas Tech, Junior year. Luckily the list goes on and on. Don't worry, I won't get lost in my memories, and I'll make new happy ones when I can. (Unfortunately, that will probably be after classes get out.) So excuse me while I sit back, relax and remember that one time....

| My life (besides being sick)...
1. The PRAXIS on Saturday. I need to score in the 20% to recieve
teacher certification, I need to score in the 50% to recieve my
Masters'.
2. A month's worth of Lesson Plans. On Space Science. Due Today. I've got three weeks worth barely done.
3. On Tuesday, leaving for Pi Kappa Delta Nationals. Never competed
there on the circuit, so we'll see how it goes. If you'll be there, let
me know, so that I can hang out.
4. Coaching the one K-ville high school extemper, so that he can go to
state. Apparently there are some weird rules for Missouri Extemp at the
state level. Anyone who can clarify a few things for me, should get a
hold of me some how.
5. After school gets out in May, my hippie brother is coordinating a
rafting trip down the Greene River in Utah.Should be fun. It will also
be cool to see Nathan in his true element.
6. Starting a job search for my "First Real Teaching Job", very exciting!
7. I'm working with one of the freshman from the Truman team on his crit. Man, I miss competing!
